OMNIPANEL

OMNIPANEL is a Windows-based remote operator interface that mirrors the physical front panel of the OMNI 4000/7000 flow computer. It provides technicians and measurement teams with the exact same navigation, status indicators, menus, and operational screens they would see on the device itself—accessible through USB, serial, or Ethernet connections. This allows users to monitor meter runs, batches, prover operations, alarms, diagnostics, and system status in real time without being physically present at the metering station.

Designed for reliability and low bandwidth environments, OMNIPANEL supports multi-device management, secure access controls, and full operational visibility across pipeline, terminal, marine, gas, NGL, and refining applications. It is not a configuration tool; instead, it serves as a precise remote HMI for operations, troubleshooting, verification, and audit support.

SmartFlash

SmartFlash is a lightweight Windows utility designed specifically for updating firmware on OMNI Flash-based CPUs through a direct USB connection. Unlike OMNICONNECT—which is a full configuration, diagnostics, and operations suite—SmartFlash is a single-purpose tool focused exclusively on safely transferring the CPU’s firmware image to the flow computer.

SmartFlash communicates with the OMNI CPU through the Mini-B USB device port on the front panel or CPU board. When connected, the utility places the CPU into firmware-update mode, verifies device identity, and transfers the new firmware file in a controlled sequence to protect system integrity. This ensures that firmware can be updated without requiring SD cards or network connectivity, making SmartFlash ideal for field laptops, service crews, and controlled updates in regulated custody-transfer environments.

The utility verifies file integrity before flashing, performs status checks throughout the transfer, and provides confirmation once the firmware has been successfully installed. Because OMNI firmware is metrologically controlled and cannot be modified by the user, SmartFlash does not allow editing or manipulation of firmware—only authenticated installation of validated firmware packages.

Network Utility

Network Utility is a PC-based software tool used to discover, identify, and configure Ethernet modules installed in OMNI flow computers across a local or plant-wide network. It allows technicians to quickly scan for connected OMNI devices, view IP addressing and port details, and adjust network parameters such as IP address, subnet mask, and gateway settings. By providing a clear view of all OMNI Ethernet modules on the network, Network Utility simplifies commissioning, troubleshooting, and site integration—ensuring secure, reliable communication between OMNI flow computers and SCADA, DCS, PLC, or enterprise systems.
