Quality and Compliance

Quality Systems Designed to Meet Global Measurement Standards

OMNI Flow Computers is committed to delivering custody transfer measurement systems that operators can trust in the most demanding environments of the oil & gas value chain. For more than 35 years, our reputation has been built on a simple principle: quality is engineered, verified, and continuously improved—never assumed.

Our quality process is rooted in traceability, auditable performance, and rigorous compliance with global measurement standards. Every OMNI flow computer is designed, assembled, and tested with the precision required for mission-critical custody transfer operations.

OMNI products comply with global measurement requirements including:

  • API MPMS Chapters 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, and 21

  • AGA, ISO, OIML, and WELMEC 7.2

  • UL, CE, CSA, and other safety certifications

These certifications reinforce our commitment to secure, auditable measurement.

Our Commitment to Quality

OMNI’s Quality Policy guides every stage of our design, production, and support processes:

  • Meet and exceed customer requirements

  • Continuously improve our products, systems, and processes

  • Operate with integrity, transparency, and traceable performance

  • Collaborate closely with customers to ensure optimal solutions

  • Engineer products that evolve without obsoleting prior generations

OMNI is ISO 9001 certified and maintains world-class metrological approvals, including OIML, EU Measuring Instruments Directive, and API MPMS compliance.

Quality built into
every OMNI Flow Computer

Every OMNI flow computer is built on a disciplined quality foundation that prioritizes performance, reliability, and long-term serviceability. Our engineering, manufacturing, and testing processes work together to ensure each unit performs consistently in demanding custody transfer applications across the oil and gas value chain.

  • Engineering by Design

OMNI’s architecture is built around a secure, firmware-centric platform that avoids PC-based operating systems and the instability they introduce. Every unit is engineered for predictable performance, field upgradeability, and long-term compatibility across generations.

  • Rigorous Manufacturing Controls

Each flow computer is assembled under disciplined manufacturing procedures supported by documented traceability. Component integrity, assembly sequences, and verification points ensure consistency and adherence to OMNI’s controlled production standards.

  • Comprehensive Factory Testing
Before shipment, every device undergoes a full suite of functional, diagnostic, and communication tests. Power, I/O, and module validation procedures confirm that the system meets operational criteria and performs reliably under expected field conditions.

ISO Certification

ISO 9001:2015 provides a set of requirements that must be in place to have a quality management system regardless of the organization’s size, product or service line, or public or private status. Certification to the standard is voluntary, and organizations must complete a rigorous auditing process by a third-party registrar.
