OMNI Flow Computers has acquired a leading role in flow measurement
technology with its OMNI 3000 and OMNI 6000 product lines of flow
computers, software, controllers and RTUs.
Instruments of Choice
Major industry users specify OMNIs as their flow computers of choice
on many upgrade and new projects. They recognize the versatile, built-in
functions of these instruments for measurement and control - indispensable
for pipeline, terminal, petrochemical and process applications.
Standard software for liquids and gases
Virtually any fluid or gas, from crude oil, refined products, LPGs,
NGLs, propylene and ethylene to natural gas, carbon dioxide and other
industrial gases can be measured without the expense of custom software
support typical of other computer and RTU manufacturers.
Putting it All Together
OMNI took a systems approach to its product designs. That resulted
in an optimum assembly time for putting together the elements - components,
boards, standard software. It shortens the build cycle and gets the
product to the customer on schedule.
I/O boards are quality tested and temperature-trimmed to optimize
analog resolution, and burned-in before shipment for field installation.
Standard Hardware to Match the Application
OMNI has the capability to match its standard products to the customer's
application needs. The non-restrictive I/O bus design permits any
combination of inputs and outputs to meet most metering, flow and
valve control and communication requirements.
Higher Accuracy Technology
Plug-in I/O modules provide the customer with an assurance of maximum
product life by higher accuracy measurement technologies such as meter
pulse fidelity checking and HoneywellTM digital transmitter interface
modules.
Protecting the Customer's Investment
OMNI has worked hard to ensure that the benefits of new developments
in measurement standards and operations practice are passed on to
its customers at minimal expense. OMNI standard software eliminates
field training time and enables customers to connect their hardware
to almost any field equipment in a real-time environment. |
