NEWS RELEASE & STAFF APPOINTMENTS

Alan L. McCartney, President and Chief Executive Officer of OMNI, states, "I am very pleased to announce that we have been able to deliver our best ever annual results in 2005. This was brought about, in part, by the domestic upsurge in replacement equipment due to the impact of hurricanes Katrina and Rita. However, OMNI's growth internationally has accelerated significantly this past year due to our continuing leadership position in our market segment and the contribution this year from our new UK facilities in support of that growth.

"Our people faced many challenges during the year particularly as a result of our plant relocation. Now well established in our new location in Sugar Land, OMNI has realigned its staffing and positioned itself for continued growth and success during 2006. The continued acquisition of and reduction in service by our European-owned competitors can only benefit OMNI and the support that it enjoys from its widening customer base."
OMNI is therefore pleased to announce the following appointments:

Michael Beck, David Crandall, Michael Kuvent as Regional Sales Managers for USA

Peter Lecher as Director of Finance

Michael Watson as Manager of Training and Technical Services

Mr. McCartney also states that the quality of these appointments would be difficult to replicate by any other company in our field. OMNI's ongoing commitment to our wide range of customers in their various fields of endeavor is reflected in the investment that OMNI makes by its continued ability to attract key personnel who bring to the Company a wealth of industry experience and knowledge to the OMNI team.
