
REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
OMNI Flow Computers
Inc., a highly successful specialized international industry leader
in the design, development, and manufacture of flow computers and controllers
used in the oil and gas industry, is seeking an Regional Sales Manager.
Duties: Manager will sell and market flow computers and other electronic equipment, related technical and training services requiring knowledge of custody transfer flow measurement and control systems of principally hydrocarbon fluids. Calls on management, engineering representatives and other professionals of oil & gas pipeline companies and affiliates, such as terminal, refinery, and petrochemical operations, end users, system integrators, engineering contractors, and other customers to convince prospective clients of desirability and practicability of products and services offered. Reviews engineering drawings, plans, and other customer documents to develop and prepare cost estimates and quotations. Draws up or proposes changes in equipment, or use of materials or services which would result in cost reduction or improvement in operations. Provides technical services to clients related to use, operation and maintenance of equipment. May draw up sales or service contract for products or services. May provide technical training to employees of client. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Substantial US Regional Travel in the range of 50-60% (Eastern USA), or oversea travel as directed, may be required for attending seminars, trade shows, territory representative selection/maintenance and customer visits.
Education and Work Experience: Engineering Bachelor degree (BS) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; and five years related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Sales Manager will be responsible for all sales activity conducted by the Company in designated regions. Knowledge of flow measurement and control systems of principally hydrocarbon fluids essential. Gulf Coast Oil and gas pipelines, terminal, refinery, and petrochemical operations selling experience considered a must.
